FlyaKite 3 it's comming! =D =D =D

Very nice I can not wait to get it...dose the start menu have to be on the top?

No, it doesn't have to. However, it is an option now in 3.0. v2.0 didn't have the capability to move the taskbar, but I designed a tool for v3.0 to do it, listed in the Extras section as "Move Taskbar to Top". Of course even if it does get moved to the top, you can easily move it back manually.

is it coming out tomorrow?, in two days?, in a week?, a month?.... next year?? :o

just can't wait :jump:

Very soon. The main thing I have left to do is the "Welcome to FlyakiteOSX" guide, and just a couple small misc. things. But, I am flying out to Virginia on the 4th, to visit my girlfriend (at her parents for winter break) and then I'm driving back home with her and won't be back till the 11th. Should be out in a few days after that ;)

you can actually move the taskbar on top, to the left, to right or bottom by just right clicking the taskbar then select "lock the taskbar" then the taskbar will be unlock and move it freely. then you can locked it again by right clicking it again and choose "lock the taskbar".

Ah Chris, I haven't heard from you in a while, but glad to see that you are doing well with this project. Glad to see that you have some a long way from locking yourself out of your computer because you hadn't finished the qs site yet. and how could forget making mr. moore cry during band. anyway, glad to see you are still to smart for your own damn good.

ps remember, don't pretend to jump out of windows while in class, you will get into trouble...

Why don't you just try and work on a Mac OSX Emulator for windows, rather than a pack of mac themes and icons that could possibly damage windows components?

hmm.. thats an easy question to answer: one is insanely complex and difficult (OSX Emulator) and the other is just tedious (Themes/Icons).

I'm really looking forward to this release.. the past ones were awesome!

I am looking forward to this too. Can't wait. Maybe I don't need to spend any money on an Intel Mac after all! Don't know if you guys have heard it, but the new mainboards now support booth Mac osX and Windows XP.

As a note, reading the entire article, top to bottom is generally a good idea, and it helps shape responses you may be thinking of posting :p

NO WHERE in that entire article does it say that the boards support both. It says that they "may boot XP after all". May, being the key word, as they have no proof, and have not tried. It only says that the 945 chipset from Intel "supports" EFI and Windows works just fine on it. It's not clear cut, and there is no definitive proof what-so-ever.

On topic, FlyakiteOSX is finished. Whatever bugs or things that have been missed will be addressed in future versions. The guide I am packaging in it is not, however, and that is my top priority tomorrow. Saturday will be spent updating and fixing up the site, getting the download ready, etc. If everything goes to plan, v3.0 will be released on Sunday. (This is not a 100% Absolute Guarantee mind you)

    • low latency mode is still bugged and causing bootup times slow to a crawl. To fix, you have to disable the feature with vivetool. Seems as though it's not rolled out to a lot of people yet since I've only been able to find only a handful of people that are having issues.
    • I would recommend the Nothing 2a. The battery life is awesome, 2 or 3 days without going into battery power mode. The only thing that I've been looking into recently is that it doesn't "support" Graphene OS. I'm pretty sure there is a way, I just need to do some more looking.
    • You'd have to show me an example of a listing that says Gen 1, usually i'd expect that to mean Snapdragon Gen 1 (a type of chipset, which the Pixels don't use). Pixel 7 - White - 128gb - Unlocked - 85%+ battery - Grade B+ - $159 with free delivery - https://www.ebay.com/itm/398046617206 Pixel 7 - Obsidian - 128gb - Unlocked - 80%+ battery - Very Good - $157 with free delivery - https://www.ebay.com/itm/355617734563 Both look to be sold by companies with good feedback, dealing with refurbished phones and state the phones are unlocked with a clean IMEI. Obviously I can't vouch for either company though, but the listings look good in my opinion.
    • Because Chrome is doing it. And no one said anyone had to update immediately. That's silly. They could update every day for all I care as long as it's fast, and the next time the browser restarts, you're good. And the basic point is not to tee it up for bigger updates. As it is right now, all the windows I had open reopen anyway except inprivate.
    • Why? Does anybody actually want this? The constant need to close all browser sessions and wait for a new version to install, just so that there’s a integrated coupon manager feels like a waste of everyone’s time
