I was thinking about what I'm going to give my dad this xmas. What do you think about these:

Looking purely at what you've posted, I'd probably go with the Daytek V80S.

I just wanted to know if it's a good DVD player for their prices.

Why not look at the Philips DVP642? It's inexpensive and a great unit. I'm just not sure if it's sold in Malta (looking at your "from" location).
