migo Posted December 5, 2005 Share Posted December 5, 2005 I've been having numerous application errors over the past couple of days, most of them cause Internet Explorer to quit, but some of them kill other programs as well. here are the last two error messages that I got, most of them follow the same format except the program is sometimes iexplore.exe or dwwin.exe and the number in brackets usually changes. Windows - Application Error The application failed to initalize properly (0xc0000017). Click on OK to terminate the application. --Internet Explorer quit (without clicking OK). iedw.exe - Application Error The application failed to initalize properly (0xc000012d). Click on OK to terminate the application. --Internet Explorer froze. --Clicked OK, no result, IE still frozen. --Can open a new instance of IE, pages won't load completely.
