Connecting to the Internet though my other computer's connection?

Hi All !

My Desktop computer is connected to the internet through an ADSL Line. And It is using Windows XP (Home Edition).

I have connected my Laptop (Win 98) to the desktop using USB Cable Bridge.

Now Can I connect my Laptop to the internet through my Desktop? Can you please list all the steps?
