Wow... I wasn't expecting my selections to fall exactly in line with the majority.

Either way, I (we) am (are) right. PC is the best platform of the current and next generation consoles. SNES was the best of the old generations, probably because of nostalgia, but also because of system power (it was good, not great), and especially library (huge) and quality of games.

I've gone for 360/PC/SNES

Was torn between 360 and wii for next gen. While the 360 hasn't really brought anything new it has really polished everything, a great all-round experience. I've preordered a wii but i can't say much until i've tried it. I couldn't go PS3 as for gaming it looks like it won't bring anything that it couldn't have done a year ago. I gave up on the PC gaming after all the ridiculous copy protections, bugs, driver issues, etc. It just became too much of a pain to even get started with a game.

For prev gen I have to say snes, gaming was so much fun and it's the best 2D gaming ever got.

As everything went to 3D I have to say PC, the graphics were superior and the sheer variety of games available. I've so many great memories of PC games, so many classics.
