Apple Wireless Earbuds?

i dont see this happening logically, how many times have you had an earbud fall out? the last thing i need to do is be looking for an earbud on the ground while walking down some busy street.. I thing earbuds should stick with wires or atleast have a wire between them to create some protection against losing one.

couple of thoughts, how about the battery that would necessary on the ear buds? it would be kinda large or offer short battery life. and what about recharging them? wireless earbuds would be cool but i think its still a bit far off.

You can already buy wireless headphones for the iPod - a third party company make them and apparently the sound quality is better than that of the iPod's earbuds. I saw a video review of them some time last year, but I can't remember what they're called... :(

Right, they are already out on the market and they aren't that bad from what I hear. It would be awesome if Apple would produce some, but I really think this is just simply ads for the lucky bags now that I think about it after reading the Think Secret article. Thats a cool ad though...

If this is true, it will be amazing. But the bigger questions will be the sound quality. Not that the average consumer will really care, as long as it's coming from apple; they'll like it :p

Apple win either way... Bluetooth is gonna make the unit more expensive and if they went rechargable batteries the earphones would be bulky!

iPod's battery is rechargable... wireless would drown the battery... If you meant battery in the earphones... that's a really really bad idea :p
