Sage
Hey, Basically what my problem is, is that my router won't connect to the internet itself when I turn it on, I have turn on my computer, go to its interface, and tell it to connect. It hasn't always been this way, it used to connect by itself, but its just stopped doing that... I have no idea why... Yes, I'm a noob. :) I have a Speedtouch 530, any help is appreciated. Thanks. ;)
thecableguy
Is there something on the setup page to keep it connected? And to keep your account username and password saved? Edited December 30, 2005 by JustinT9669
WinFreak
If it's dsl it's going to be PPPoE connection. Make sure you have the connection set to "Keep Alive" instead of connect on demand. You could also set the modem into "bridged" mode, and use the XP dialer to make the connection. If you're using the XP dialer, set it to not prompt for a username and password and put it in your startup folder. Hope that helps you some.......................Tony
