A little suggestion. You should move the text of the bookmarks toolbar some pixel to the top. Like in the bottom version of the image I attached. :)

yeah, i think that slight gradient on the preview is because the preview is using a vista wb5 theme..

For your first FF skin, nice job dlb...I also get the same issue as what KoL has shown via a 'ss' in this thread, new profile, with no extensions... (just to test)

Tab throbbers do not show for me, but you may have designed it this way..

I too use the CompactMenu ext, and the postion (that one has to put the menu.png) sort of distracts from the overall layout of the url and google boxes...

It has been a while since I have explored into a FF .jar skin, but I can't seem to locate where I can edit the colour of the tooltips (white text on black background), as I would prefer it more neutral (black text on white background)

dlb, we all know the quality work that you do with your various GUI projects, and hopefully you will continue to perfect this promising FF 1.5 skin...

I take it this theme if for FireFox running on the Vista OS, not to skin firefox in XP to look like vista... is that correct?

All you have to to is open up Firefox, click Tools, then Themes. Open up the zip and drag the jar file to the themes window. Press OK, select it and Use Theme. Restart Firefox. :)
