Simply great and some nice informations about Vista.

And Windows Media Player will have a cover view too. Interesting.

Of course, I'll upgrade to Vista. I've been upgrading since Windows 3.11 anyway (I'm getting old)... :)

You Probbly, know most all the tricks in windows,

Thats cool, that you have been useing Windows 3.11 - XP,

I only been using Windows 98 SE and XP

And, as an added bonus, it seems the Sidebar preview has also been updated.. a few new widgets, and, it appears as though they've ditched the curved look. My thinking, however, is that if they go with the circular "start" button, then, to maintain.. a degree of uniformity, they'd go with the curved sidebar.

In any case, as has been said before, the re-designed site sure is uplifting and much more promising than before.

I think That looks a lot better, then the curve Sidebar, Stright lines make it look more professtinal

The new Start button, looks fantastic, love it, and can't wait till i see it in person

Well the general look appears to probably be definitely final after seeing this new homepage, however looks like the actual icons through the GUI will suffer a transformation for the good, if you look at the main page on that site you will notice the icons displayed for "Computer" and the "Folder" icon has been improved and don't look amateur anymore :)

Awesome new homepage, I love it! :)

By your user name I am guessing you are 15 right? Well, nowadays its a good thing to be young, look at all the advances coming about! I am 20 years old and I almost wish I was younger. But then I realize I have the older women, nice cars, 'R' rated movies...Life is good. :D

I've never seen so many people agree on something on Neowin. The reactions are the exact opposite of the ones to the new Intel logo.

My thoughs exactly...

    • I can name 10x that on why not to switch.... It's funny outlook/office are going towards web app wrappers, and then MS is now preaching native apps again.... ugh can we just pick a lane and stay in it
    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
