slomo Posted January 9, 2006 Share Posted January 9, 2006 I am deciding between Audio Authority 1154A and CE Labs SW104HD video component switch. Links to the two are here. At this moment I am leaning towards SW104HD. My primary (important) reasons are: 1. Has remote (IR). 2. Form factor, would fit on the shelf better since it is not as tall as the 1154A. Secondary (not important) reasons: 1. 1 extra output (cannot find a reason why I need this, though, for a PVR that has component input perhaps?) The most important reason is of course the output quality. However, I could not find any SW104HD review. On the other hand there are many 1154/1154A reviews and most of them are positive and all say good output quality. It seems 1154/1154A has been around longer than the SW104HD.
