Jessril Posted January 13, 2006 Share Posted January 13, 2006 Whenever I try to install AVG Antivirus, I kept getting these funny characters in the installation screen. If I ignore them and continue installation it will succeed but my AVG will have chinese characters or black bar what not in all the screens. See screenshot for installation example. What causes this problem? I'm running XP Pro. I've changed all regional and language settings to English (UK). Doesn't help. I have no previous AVG installed.
