@Zoom7000: When you activate shellstyles it breaks the Explorer windows. They use the lisview image which make the window look nicer IMO. With the shellstyle that image isn't used, then the toolbar wont look as nice as without the shellstyles.

@IceBrewedBeer: I know what you are talking about without the image ;) The blue in the theme is intended to be there. It wouldn't look nice with only orange.

The hovers on the checkboxes and radio buttons are orange. If I make the blue orange as well it wont look as nice :)

Hi, i've found a nice wall that perfectly fits. Try this: http://zone13.digitalgrafis.com/files/inte...01024_notxt.jpg For my screen (1280x1024) i used it centered not stretched.

@Capric0rn: Very nice work, only one little thing: the entries in the context menu 'sent to' in Explorer are nearly unreadable.

Here's my current shellstyle (based on Stolen VS):

And as requested, this is my foobar config and the required plugins... It's just a mod of the one made by em3 so the instructions are the same...

m4.pui / default.pui

@Unbreakable: Scary.. your mod looks the same as a mod that I made for foobar while I was testing LE v5.1 Black

@acies: It'squashed down other wise we would had to remake every single image for the compact style. For you the systemtray and the taskbar buttons are looking different then the actual taskbar when you are using the image that you are posting. The margins are off for you know as well. So I advice you to use the default taskbar :)

@The rest: I might change something for the buttons so that there's a seperated image for the active and hovered items. The way it is now really is intended so I will talk with em3 about it :)

^Dont know yet. I'll talk about that with em3 as well.

To the people that say that the orange from the windows flag is blending into the startbutton to much; Why dont I see that? I see a clear shadow between both ornage parts. The orange in the windows flag is RED btw, in the middel of the icon it's orange. So it must be monitor settings or something cause for me it's not blending in to much at all :/

And one other thing I dont understand is why people want a green startbutton. That doesnt fit in with the orange that is trough out the hole skin. There's not a single green part in the skin. If you add green to the skin there are to many different colors IMO. But that's just my opinion about it.

I dont want to sounds hars or anything but these are just my thoughts about it :)

Feel free to comment me about these things :)

I always hated Microsoft and their Orange Zune Style that seems to have got the Orange into popularity. I personally prefer the way the start button is in LE 5.0.5. It's black and blends in to the taskbar, and only when clicked (or hovered over) does it become green. I find it much better than the Orange but that's just my opinion.

If you don't want to change the Orange, maybe just change the start button so that it is Black and only becomes Orange when clicked or hovered over.

Just a suggestion.

I agree, if you just have it black and make it orange on hover it would look great. But I don't know why people want a green button on a black and orange theme

    • The better these AI models get, the more this is going to happen. It's gonna turn into government versus government in regards to using proprietary and unavailable security research models to basically find flaws and vulnerabilities in other governments or companies systems. It's basically turning into a cybersecurity arms race. This is actually a good thing. The better AI gets, the more restricted and expensive it's going to become, making it far less mainstream. This is good 👍
    • Crazy. The government fired everyone who was capable of actually understanding this. More security theater. Just checked it is gone from Claude.
