Why is it that people can't help them selfs making mods and not keep it quiet.

Btw. I've started working on an update, don't count on a release though if this is way people "appreciate" my work.

totally agreed...

i think people should be quiet about their own mods

you're right!

I was talking about this post:

But I understand what you meen ;)

I just purchased Window Blinds. It's pretty cool. I think I'm gonna port LE and add some glass to it. Don't expect releases anytime soon though. It is summer in Sweden now and it's to warm to be inside working on themes. :)

*mumbles something about Trinidad*

Still a great theme th0-0gh. :)

Really nice work, I definitely adopt this theme! :)

I just want to report a little problem concerning the orange dispaly. I like very much the color but with some applications some words or letters are "eaten".

If I come back to the original Luna (or any official theme) the dispaly is correct.

Anyway thanks a lot for this awesome stuff!

Sorry for my bad english (I'm french) and here is an exemple of what I'm trying to explain:

Could someone hook me up with LE5 black yztoolbar theme. When I download the linked file (posted earlier in the thread) I keep getting an invalid or corrupted file error when opening it. Thanks.

Ya, would like to have them as well

I like most of the Luna Element themes very much, and I've used them for quite a long time now. However, I feel I have to speak my mind regarding em3's decision to strictly forbid releasing any modifications. As an artist as well, I'm just not able to understand his way of thinking.

I think, if one gives credit of the original idea and the original work to the author thereof, the original author should have absolutely nothing to complain about. Personally, I would consider all modifications of my work as compliments and as encouragement to continue - provided that I get credit for the original idea. As I've now come to understand, it seems em3 actually takes offence for presenting constructive, new ideas about his work and, by way of his own actions, actually restricts the creativity of others (and freedom of speech as well).

Is it really such a surprise that, at some point, someone will come up and say "Look, while I do respect your rights to the original work, I do not respect your authority to restrict me from stating my ideas." I think that's exactly what MidnightMick is doing here. And he isn't wrong IMO. If one can see the situation from others' point of view as well as his own, one would maybe see that by allowing the presentation of improvements, everyone can benefit.

(Note that I'm not addressing the issue of Mick presenting his ideas in this particular message thread, but presenting his work in general.)

Anyway, that's just what I think.

Niqu LE5 Black

Niqu LE5 Blue

Enjoy them :)

I don't care what decision he makes, just keep them coming and I'm happy. Keeping him happy will keep us all happy. If he says kiss his feet, we'll kiss his feet, if he says make out with poo, we shall make out with poo. *bows* to em3!

Now you're pushing it

    • The level of stupidity at Google and Microsoft is beyond belief. All they are doing by killing this is forcing people to jump over to Firefox and ditch them all together, therefore giving Firefox the market boost it needs to finally crush them all in the end.
