Memory Card Decision

I have a Canon PowerShot S2 IS. What would you recommend. Also where can I get a good carry case in the UK.

EDIT: It's a ?20 price diffrence which I'm not concered of.

go with whats cheaper. the super high speed ones are only needed for DSLR cameras as they can take 3+ pictures per second

I was told that once a memory card gets a lot of images (and this is true or larger capacity drives) that the browsing speed can be delayed as the camera has to index all the images.

The Ultra will be fine for your needs. There will not be a noticable (if any) difference in their speeds for you. Even on a DSLR, there will be minimal difference between the 2, which makes the Ultra the best speed/price card.

I'm shooting sports with them myself (1GB and 2Gb CF versions) using 5 fps Raw files that are 8Mb each and the cards do a great job of keeping up.
