[OFFICIAL] X360 Dashboard/Game Updates

Bioshock Update

The next time you play BioShock and you are connected to Xbox LIVE, you’ll be prompted to accept a title update. I asked 2K and Irrational what it contains, and here is what they told me:

Update improves stability when loading autosaves and overall game stability, corrects audio during title menu loading, and addresses AI behaviors regarding use of health stations.

So there ya go.

what does that post say? i can't load the page.

It's just a small system update being rolled out for the Scene-It controller. Nothing exciting.

First off, let me get this out of the way right up front:

This is not the ‘fall dashboard update.’

Today the team is releasing a minor system update via Xbox Live. Over the next few hours, when you sign in to Xbox LIVE, you’ll receive a prompt to accept this mandatory update. What’s in this update? Much like the update last month, the only thing this minor release will do is prepare your Xbox 360 for the Big Button Pad that is being released this holiday. Why do we need to release this update now? Simple: The certification team needs time to test the new controller against the retail hardware/software combination before it hits stores.

One more thing: no new features beyond this big button pad support are included in this update and, once again, this is not the ‘fall dashboard upgrade.’ When I have firm details on the next major update, I will share them.

Helps if you post the news & link robpears :p

anyone know when the Fall Update is comming ...

Last year the Fall Update was released on October 31st, so it could be around that time. We didn't have any notice until a few days before.

Team Fortess 2 update is coming soon as well.

Orange Box updated for me today.

Still had lag troubles earlier when I tried it :( Not sure if that was because of the host's connection though..

    • Cooler Master MasterFrame 600 PC case is now 33% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The Cooler Master MasterFrame 600 is currently $109.99 on Amazon, down from its original $164.99 list price. That's 33% off and $55 saved on this premium aluminum mid-tower case with a modular design. If you're upgrading your PC case and want something that doesn't force you into a rigid layout, the MasterFrame 600 is worth a look. The case is built around the Cooler Master's FreeForm 2.0 platform, which lets you reconfigure the internal structure according to your hardware. Magnetic side panels allow for straightforward adjustments, and the case supports everything from Mini-ITX to E-ATX motherboards without compromise. There's also generous cooling headroom. Four pre-installed PWM fans handle airflow out of the box. GPU clearance goes up to 410mm, and the case supports radiators up to 420mm with room for three simultaneously. Truth be told, this might not be the prettiest case on the market, but it’s highly functional. The aluminum construction keeps the whole thing lightweight despite its size, and the finish looks noticeably better than the plastic mid-towers competing at this price point. If you want a serious, flexible case that prioritizes function over flashy aesthetics like RGB lighting, the MasterFrame 600 delivers at a reasonable price.
