Well, after doing the update, my 360 now has RROD. I don't know if it has anything to do with the update or not, but it froze when I tried to download the Condemned demo, so I turned if off and then back on again and I got RROD.

It's dead. I've tried unplugging everything and then powering it on again, and still RROD. Perfect timing with GTA4 in about a week too :angry:

Another update to find and crack down on faulty units that will RROD in the future? Heh. Timing does suck but at least you'll get it fixed for free.

nevermind, my own question got answered. lol.

its basically just an update to prepare for the fall update. doesnt chnage or do anything to the current dashboard.

They are just preparing the network for the update. Update due in November apparently.

anyone else having trouble with xbox live in the uk ? im signed in but cant browse demos or game add ons, can use IM and BF2 modern Combat working ok so is bad company working ok online

Some game updates have been released to support avatars.

Hardwood Hearts, Hardwood Spades, Bomberman and UNO.

The new XBLA game already supports them out of the box so to speak, Kingdom for Keflings.
