mark p Posted February 13, 2006 Share Posted February 13, 2006 I just had an annoying thing happen on our Win2000 domain. A user VPN'ed in and grabbed the address of an existing workstation. The workstation detected the conflict, and even thought the VPN user is disconnected, it is still detecting an address conflict, even though there is nothing with that IP address. The remote user was still connected by VPN, so even though the address they grabbed was not answering back a ping, Window still could see it. I shut down the tunnel, and everything is fine.
