[OFFICIAL] Xbox Live Latest Demos

I played a bit of Sonic last night, and I have to agree with just about everything else that was said. It's just so disappointing. I tried really hard to like it. It feels like a whole different team developed it (notice how it didn't say "Developed by Sonic Team" (or else I missed it)). I don't agree with the comments about Sonic sticking to the 2D realm, because I really enjoyed Sonic Adventure on the DC. I was expecting to be wowed just like I was when I played that game. Instead, I was utterly disappointed. The game still has potential, but the control problems must be fixed.

I thought the Sonic Demo was pretty fun. The camera controls blow horribly, but it didn't seem like the camera was being a pain very much. I might think about getting that one, having not played a Sonic game since 2D times.

Hmm. The fact that you could very easily fall off, due to the speed thing, also annoyed me.

Maybe it'll take some getting used to, but this demo has convinced me to scratch this off my Most Wanted list.

I haven't played a WWE game since the Nintendo 64 days of THQ (wwf), but I must say, I love this demo.

I was going to buy a Wii when it came out, but it looks like I'm going to have to use that money on more xbox 360 games instead. Oh well :D

To many loading screens for me to enjoy it.

Looks like they really need to hire someone that knows how to use caching and fix this mess!

why didn't i listen to you guys.. sonic the hedgehog was a HUGE disappointment.. i think sonic should of stopped at Dreamcast.. now THAT game was amazing.. raising your own little hedgehogs.. that was such a cool idea..

Yeah loved that game, must go and dust off my Dreamcast and get some batteries for my VMU!

I am not all that sure about NFS Carbon. It really appears to run like ass IMO. I have seen noticeable slow down and huge dips in frames per second. While the graphics are a step up from Wanted, I really cannot see how a racing game could have such performance issues. Hopefully it is just the demo.

nah its gunna lag, too many fancy effects, it shows as AA and AF are clearly lacking, but it is a nice game and im definately buying it for the PC on arrival, i just need a PC demo now :)

Need for Speed Carbon Demo on Marketplace now. Majornelson says it is 1GB

Lylesback2, are you talking about the little Chao's? i remember i used to have one on my VMU :p

hahaha, yes the chaos! i remember you have to find the eggs and help feed them and stuff, such a cool idea.. too bad you can only hold so many. it was cool how they transfered them to the VMU.. he picks them up and drops them into a giant VMU in the game :)

runs perfect on mine.. very smooth, great graphics, fun game

The weird thing is it ran better the second time I tried it. Although I still saw some slow down in the Drifting section, in particular the same section on the same curve (I played it through like 3 times just to see if i was crazy), everything else did run better... although I still did see some slow down overall, it was not as bad.

Just curious, what do you have your X Box output to? 480p, 720p, or 1080i? I am wondering if that has something to do with it, although I would like to think it would not have anything to do with it, I am curious.

It seems whenever I download something, and choose Play Now, when the download is done, it does not run good at all. Actually, I never had it happen with Demos really that I can remember, but I have always had the issue with Videos. If I stop it, manually go to Videos and choose Play, it runs fine. So when I tried the NFS Demo I just chose Play Now originally, and it ran poorly. Then when I manually went to Demos and chose it, it seemed to run much, much better. Not sure what the is all about, but I may be calling MS really soon to find out.

    • This Samsung T7 external SSD deal lasts less than a day by Sayan Sen Recently we had covered some nice deals of internal NVMe SSDs which include the 4TB TeamGroup G50 for only $400, the WD_BLACK SN7100 2TB for just $243, as well as the Samsung 990 PRO 1TB for $370. If however you require an external SSD for portability and quick data transfers and have a budget of less than $200 the Samsung T7 1TB model is currently on a limited time deal at just $190, it's lowest price in nearly three months. The deal ends today so you better hurry if you need one (purchase link below). It is also fairly robust with a drop protection of up to 2 meters, though bear in mind that this is not waterproof. For that you will have to choose the rugged T7 Shield. The technical specifications of the Samsung T7 1TB are given in the table below: Specification Value Model Code (1TB) MU-PC1T0T / MU-PC1T0H Interface USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) Dimensions (W × H × D) 85 × 57 × 8 mm Weight 72 g Sequential Read Speed Up to 1,050 MB/s Sequential Write Speed Up to 1,000 MB/s Drop Resistance Up to 2 m (6.6 ft) Encryption AES 256-bit hardware encryption Operating Temperature 0°C to 60°C Non-Operating Temperature -40°C to 85°C Humidity 5% to 95% (non-condensing) Shock Resistance 1,500 G, duration 0.5 ms, 3-axis (non-operating) Vibration Resistance 20–2,000 Hz, 20 G (non-operating) Get it at the link below: Samsung T7 Portable SSD, 1TB External Solid State Drive, MU-PC1T0T/AM, Gray: $189.98 (Sold and Shipped by Amazon US) Good to know This Amazon deal is U.S. specific, and not available in other regions unless specified. • I just wish they would put more love into Virtual Desktops. There is just so much more they could do.
    • Sounds like you just skimmed over the review, I answer all those questions in it. Although I admit I did not test if DTS works over the headphones, when I get some time I will test this. My personal use case is more speaker-driven (I cover this in the review too).
    • It actually does the same exact thing as yours, 7.1 virtual surround over headphones. From the product page: "Experience sound that surrounds you with 7.1 virtual surround, delivering a wider, more immersive soundstage for movies, games, and music." So both of them are two channel, with 7.1 virtual surround that only work in Headphones mode.
