If you make a 'dummy' Xbox Live account and set your Country to US, you should be able to download it fine.

I don't know if they've made it any harder to setup fake US accounts but I've had one for a while and was able to download the Viva Pinata demo and play it fine.

i can get on the video marketplace and download the trailers, haven't tried any of the movies because i don't have any mspoints in the house, but i think i'll buy those some time soon.

Nope. They said that they never had time to make a demo whilst they were making the game and as it's sold so well it's highly unlikely they'll go back and make a demo.
