[OFFICIAL] Xbox Live Latest Demos

It's terrible. The graphics look like something from a 5 year old PC shooter, and the movement is very slow. Don't even bother with this one.

QFT stay far away from this game.. the graphics are lame, the controls are lame and there is an auto aim that aims right next to your targets so you can't hit them

So was it pulled again? MN said it was pulled, then says it is back up, now people are saying it is no longer available...

From the overwhelming negative reaction, maybe they realized leaving it up was not a good thing, as this does not even sound like it is worth renting.

I just really want to get out of work already.

Hour Of Victory is not up again.

However, not sure if it is new or not, but either as news or as a reminder

Pirates Of The Caribbean: At Worlds End Demo is up

I don't know about anybody else, but I was pleasantly surprised with the POTC demo. It was a little awkward at first, but once I got used to the controls, I really enjoyed it. I might go ahead and grab the game, though first I'm picking up Shadowrun.

Ah, I missed that one. Thanks, Larry.

Not a problem.

I have to say I agree, I will definitely be renting POTC.

Also it is good to see a few people are definitely getting Shadowrun. I should have it sometime next week from Gamefly, and chances are good I will be keeping it.

I downloaded the POTC demo, and I dunno if I'm playing something different from the rest of you, but it sucked ass. The controls were awful, the camera didn't allow you to see anything, you could kill nearly all the enemies by just hitting "slash, slash, slash," and the NPCs running into doors and fading is something that has no place on a "next generation" console. But, it is a movie tie-in game, so there's really no reason to expect anything else.

I agree about the camera, the NPC's disappearing (that is truly bad) and the button mashing of the fighting... all were horrible. But other than that, I was pleasantly surprised. I am not sure if you made it to the second level, but that had a Prince Of Persia type thing going on and that is what I liked. Is this a great game? Nope, not even close. Is it perhaps a game that will amuse me and kill a few hours with a rental? Yes, I definitely think it might be.

So by no means am I saying I was super impressed with the game itself. It had some serious flaws and some extremely cheesy, predictable controls for fighting. I was just saying I actually expected it to be way, way worse than it actually was, and I may actually rent it. Then again I very well may not rent it too, as perhaps Forza 2 and Shadowrun will pass the time until The Darkness comes out, which is the game I am personally looking forward to the most out of June's releases.

I watched some videos for this game a few months back and I would stay well clear of it. Its one giant rip from games like Metal Gear Solid / Splinter Cell mixed with vampires. And when I say rip, I mean almost identical in the way Sam/Snake move, plus the codec screens etc etc.

A fairly interesting game as there's not many vampire games out in the market, but the way they went about it totally lacks originallity

Each to their own though :p

    • Exactly. They won't go 100 because current gen consoles are simply too old for any groundbreaking graphics or gaming experience otherwise. They will go with standard (console) price 70 or go with 80 if they really want to go premium. Of course they will have more expensive options too with some useless cosmetics as always.
    • Doesn’t surprise me at all. God is light & He gave us life so it sounds almost logical that we would therefore emit a certain amount of light.
    • This is what I want. Hey Gemini, how do I remove you from all my google products permanently?
    • I would never install install this build before rtm process. only 3 months to go. never install on your daily devices. just wait 3 months.
