Actually I'm quite surprised, I have 5 demos on my hard drive just now, along with map packs for a few games, halo 3 beta, arcade games, themes etc and still 6 or 7GB spare :D

Although I guess it's different for you guys over the pond with movie/tv marketplace :/

Its a shame we will never get that. Canada dosent have it iirc. I mean look at Apple with their movies on Itunes. We are still waiting 2 years later!!!!

Overlord

Just as .Kick said, it seems to lack on overall polish. Also maybe it is just me, but slow down when you just swing a sword is extremely off putting to me, nevermind when there was more going on than me swinging my sword. I would rather sacrifice some visuals for smooth game play personally, but perhaps they will flush it out.

Shadowrun

I have Shadowrun downloaded, just have not check it out yet and will do so sometime this weekend.

I am curious, to anyone else that was also in the Shadowrun Beta awhile back, is the demo different maps than the Beta, or the same two?

I am really just waiting for Shadowrun to get here from GameFly already since I know I do like it, so that is why I am not in a rush for the demo I would rather just jump into the whole game, because as mail mentioned it is also very reminiscent of CS to me as well (I describe it as CS meets Magic to my friends). But for whatever reason even though my queue had an empty slot which I left empty on purpose, it never got shipped. I am really getting fed up with GameFly because of the last month.

^ DL, try out GamezNFlix. I've switched over to them from GameFly and I'm loving it so far. Shippings speeds are much faster (turn-around time from when you send in a game to when you receive a new one is about 3-5 days depending on when you send back your game). Plus you can rent movies including HD-DVDs, Blu-Ray discs, etc all with one (really cheap) subscription. You can usually Google a coupon or two to get that membership price even lower. :)

have we talked about Hour of Victory already? didn't like that demo at all. weird model characters, clunky animation, no destructible environments (in contrast to what was advertised) and all very COD2.

Sad excuse of a Unreal 3 Engine license.

gotta say you're right, it wasn't what i expected. was looking forward to some good old fashioned arcade action with spiced up gfx, but this was more like Wing Commander. may not get it after all.

as for the controls, a bit awkward but can be gotten used to.

    • I bought this game. Played it for an hour, and then got a refund from Steam. Not a fun game at all.

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets another hotfix for one of the game's online modes by Taras Buria Recently, Forza Horizon 6 players discovered an interesting glitch that allowed farming a crazy amount of in-game credits in a few minutes. Playground Games quickly pulled the plug on the exploit by disabling one of the game's online modes, and today, the studio is rolling out another hotfix. In my review, I complained about the game still showering gamers with cars, credits, and wheelspins. As such, earning money in Forza Horizon 6 is not a particularly difficult task. You simply have to play the game, crazy, I know. However, people still found an easier path to becoming a billionaire in Forza Horizon 6. All you had to do was purchase the Hummer EV, install a specific tune, shift in reverse while going at about 15 MPH, hit a wall, and get launched into the stratosphere at the speed of light. While mid-air, launch Eliminator and quickly get eliminated. Boom, the game just awarded you with a few million in-game credits. Initially, Playground Games disabled Eliminator to prevent people from farming credits. Now, following the release of the first balancing update, developers are rolling out a new update that re-enables Eliminator and gives users a free McLaren Sabre as a gesture of goodwill. Here is the changelog: One critical issue remains unpatched, though. There are quite a few reports of the game wiping gamers' saves, and developers are still looking into that. To avoid potential data loss, Playground Games recommends taking one of the steps outlined in a previously published support article.
