[OFFICIAL] Xbox Live Latest Demos

Recommended Posts

Ace Combat really holds true to the previous games.

Another game added to my "To Buy ... " List.

Yes, I have been watching this game ever since it was announced for the Xbox 360! I loved the series on the PS2 and I can't believe it's exclusive to the 360 this time around. :D

Blue Dragon was cool, not sure if I will buy it though as the voice acting is really bad imo. Played it for as long as I could this morning, but I was pretty tired. Will give it another go later :p

I got so confused by it and it wasnt smooth, needs to keep going , someone talks "pauses" someone talks "another long pause" and this is in a heated boss battle!!!

Well the retail version will come with japanese audio too with subs :)

I played the demo for a bit but i was on my lunch hour so i couldn't really play for long, while the game is good, one thing that'll make me go insane is the stupid woman who says "treasure" when an enemy drops an item :p

Wow to Blue Dragon! I played about 30 minutes of it and it was fun. The voice acting seemed a bit off but other than that I kind of liked it. The only other similar turn based games I have ever played was the Legend of Heroes series of the PSP which is crap compared to this.

I guess all the menus and everything seemed a bit overwhelming to me, so I can't comment for others. Why did it seem like the in harder battles on floor 1 that the only real thing that did any damage was Corporeal or whatever for each character? Also, those other attacks that use less magic barely do any damage, but there are tons to choose from. Whew, I am tired. :(

Blue Dragon was terrible. Looks like I'll be skipping that one. It was nothing compared to the Eternal Sonata demo. Ace Combat seemed cool, but I don't know if I would be willing to fork out $150 for the flight stick bundle. I know you can get just the game by itself for regular price, but if I were to get it I'd go all out and get the bundle.

Agreed. Blue Dragon did suck. It's like Final Fantasy, but with cartoon graphics. We've already got 12 FF games. We don't need a copycat now.

BTW, anyone here having trouble getting the Stuntman Ignition demo? I keep trying to download it, but it keeps saying it can't download it. It's definately not a space issue on my HDD. It need about 650MB, and I've got over 900MB free.

I did not like the battle system in Blue Dragon, i was against one boss in the 2nd floor in the fortress and he had about 6 goes and virtually wiped out my party and then when i finally got a go, he had another 3 goes and killed my party!

@MightyJordan, i just checked my 360 and i have no Stuntman demo available to download, so maybe it is a mistake. Probably expect it later today

Eternal Sonata demo?! Where is this? Is this only for certain regions?

Blue Dragon was definitely disappointing overall, but honestly I did like the battle system. I seemed to work very well with it, and had no problem beating anything that came in my way, including that boss on the second floor. The jury's still out on whether I'll get it or not...

It's giving me issues... I've had my gamertag since before I got my Elite, but now I have a free month available for me... Well, since I'm trying to create a new account, it wants to give me that free month, and won't let me decline it, and because of that it wants more information than I can put. I'm screwed :/

You have to make a new hotmail account with a Japanese address and everything. Use that hotmail account to make the new live account. It will ask you for your address and everything. Just google for Nintendo's headquarters in Japan. That's what I used. Any Japanese address should work. It's not hard to find using google.

Finally got AC6 downloaded and wow! I have never really played a flight sim/action game before, but I had so much fun! Seriously, I couldn't really deicde which control scheme I liked though.

Who else stayed and tried to fight those guys in the end?

Haha, yea I did. But they just keep coming and they're REALLY hard to take down. Eventually the demo times out, though, so you can't ever really get them all.

I think I need to give AC6 another try, I couldn't figure it out.. :(

Blue Dragon sucked.

AC6 is a great game, definitely give it another go. Be sure you understand the controls and give it more of a chance.

I thought Microsoft was keen on this by now?

I like Blue Dragon, but there is some parts that put me off. I was really looking forward to it but it's not the game I was hoping for.

I think I'm going to wait for reviews and see how Eternal Sonata/Lost Odyssey turns out.

AC6 was cool, but not really into flight games. Was fun to play around with though :)

Edit: Stuntman demo is out, 641.90 MB

    • All versions is correct. The bug appears on any version of Windows with KB5094126 installed. It's a little insane to expect the author to explain that systems that can't possibly have that patch installed, will not experience the bug. If you have any gripe about the title, it would be that it doesn't mention the update at all, but I wouldn't agree with that either. A title is not expected to be a full summery of the article.

    • I'd say the first one failed to be as popular as Apple anticipated, but the easy adjustment here is to make fewer of them next time around. It would only be a "flop" if it isn't possible for Apple to recover the design and factory tooling costs given the number of units sold, which I doubt would be the case. It isn't like no one bought them; it just failed to become the new hot phone of the year.
