I love The Bigs. I can't seem to make any big time catches and I get a lot of homeruns robbed from me and end up losing. First game I played I lost 17-0 because I didn't know how to pitch haha.

Yea, it didn't really help that there was no tutorial or anything. But yea, it was a lot of fun!

Surf's up available in the UK. The Bigs only US ?

Oh dear, are they actually trying to sell Surfs Up for actual real money? Damn its the worst thing I have ever seen since, well I dont know, but its the worst thing I have ever seen game wise, it wasnt made by Sony by any chance?

I think it's mainly for kids, come on, give it a break.

I'm in love with The Bigs. I've played the demo more times than almost any other game demo and I've played it more than Gears of War recently..so, this game will be a buy for me once I get some money.

I thought Stuntman Ignition was a lot of fun! What did you guys think?

Stuntman was my favorite demo out of this bunch, tried it today (nope, did not get my 360 back yet, my brother in law let me borrows his again). I really enjoyed it for what it is. It is by no means a great game, but definitely extremely fun.

@ Ji@nBing - I own the wheel too, and no way in hell I would use the wheel for stuntman, just to much going on. I think you might enjoy it much more with the controller. (Y)

I did not dislike The Bigs, and actually I can see really liking it, however I did not really know what was going on with it. I barely got one hit in 9 at bats. Not even kidding.

Was not impressed at all by Ace Combat to be honest. I do not personally think there has been a good flying game since Tie Fighter for the PC. None of them capture any sense of speed I think, not sure what it is but just never like flying games at all.

Blue Dragon, I did not make it out of the first room of the demo, and I am not even kidding. RPG's are not my genre at all, and this just backed it up for me. I pressed the guide button, Y for the dash, then immediately deleted it. Just not my thing at all.

Just keep playing it, I've been playing it non-stop with the demo. The more you play the better you get..it's really hard at first, but I've figured it out.

Use your contact swing the most unless a power hitter has come up to the plate and take a few strikes and wait for a tip-off pitch which is where the green circle comes up on your screen (unless it's 2-2) be protective and take a hack at it.

I'm in love with this game!

Nice. Thanks for the tips. Was wondering that the hell the green circle was all about!!

I think I have to download it again, as I may have deleted it. :shiftyninja:

Thanks. I may give it another go. I like the idea of it.

The Bigs I sucked at too. It finally turned it off once it got to 22-0 :p

Blue Dragon is really crappy I think. If you want to give a good RPG a go, try the Eternal Sonata demo. It should be out in August, or you can get it now if you have a Japanese account. It's so well done: graphics, music, gameplay, it's all really beautiful. That's really the word to describe it. It's just a beautiful game in all aspects.

If any of you get The Bigs full game, lemme know maybe we can play some online stuff :) I'm having trouble playing online as it is with my wonderful connection :(

Also, how do you go about making a "Japanese account" so you can get Eternal Sonata et al? I can't seem to figure it out (and is it illegal or anything?)

Select No to createa new LiveID (I chose this as I didnt want to associate it with my current passport account)

Then choose Japan

I think you should be able to find your way from there :)

[edit]

On a related note, you will need an japanese address in order to create a japanese account, I just googled Japan and Tokyo address until I found one with a complete postcode (zip code for US?)

The one I used was as follows ...

New Yurakucho Building

3rd Floor

12-1, Yurakucho 1-chome

Chiyoda-Ku, Tokyo 100-0006

Enter the part in RED into the postcode part, including the hyphen. It will complete the rest itself.

I did want to use Sony Japans HQ address

2-6-21, Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo, 107-0062 Japan

But wondered if that would be accepted :)

[/edit]

BTW does anybody know where the Eternal Sonata demo is located? I looked under Games Demos but found nothing even remotely similar, unless its one of the few with a complete Japanese name instead of English with Japanese title underneath?

Edited by BeLGaRaTh

Thanks found it now, its 2nd from bottom, all japanese text, just after Zegapain (downloading that also as it piqued my curiosity with its title). Total of 584.12mb for Eternal Sonata (Trusty Bell) for anyone else unsure :)

Strange how TenchuZ is listed twice though ...

Juiced 2 (1.31GB) Demo is out

Flatout UC (751MB) Demo is out but only available to Europeans, it features both racing and derby modes.

Also Blacksite Area 51 teaser demo is available to Germany now.

Never heard of Juiced 2 until now, checked out the site and it looks decent. Will have to check it out tonight when I get home.

Whatever Zegapain is, is it also in English? :D
Nope not the littlest iota of English, had to turn console off as didnt know what the return to dash option was :( Game is a sort of mech kinda thing set in space or something, I wanted to end it as soon as it started to be honest :)
Yeah it was, didn't even know that Juiced 2 was in development !!!
Wasn't juiced 1 the game where if you lost a race, you also lost one mor more of the cars that you had spent your hard earned cash on buying? Pretty sure that was the one, and remember being very pished off when it happened :(

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.4 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.4 changelog: Uses electron 42.4.1 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.4.
