We just got word from Activision that a playable demo of Tony Hawk's Proving Ground will hit Xbox Live Marketplace in the next coming weeks. The publisher also provided us the final box art for the game, which you can see right after the break.

In the largest and deepest Tony Hawk game yet, gamers are now in total control of their skating destiny in Tony Hawk?s Proving Ground. Set in the streets of Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., the title empowers players with the freedom to define their character, story and style based on the choices they make, the paths they select and the style of skating they want.

Tony Hawk?s Proving Ground features deeper customization than ever before, including a Video Editor with full-featured editing tools and visual effects for creating ?epic skate videos,? and a fully customizable online Skate Lounge where players can skate with friends in the ultimate pad.

I just played it. Pretty awesome I must say. First time a horror game hooked me. I was scared at some points too, I was like wtf ! Also the cinematic experience is pretty awesome too. I wasn't too hyped about this game but now I think i might have to buy it or rent it at least!

Oh I thought it was me because I'm downloading like crazy on my computer right now :p

Berserk87, BlackShadow was referring to his/her connection to Xbox Live. The download for BioShock seems to be going slowly for everyone because many people are downloading it. Currently, there is no BioShock demo for the PC.

He's lying. Quote from the Bioshock website:

The BioShock demo, announced after the world premiere of the BioShock launch trailer on Spike TV, has just now gone live on Marketplace. Boot up your 360s and get downloading. Rapture awaits.

For those of you who are looking for a BioShock demo on the PC, it is in the works and will be out later this month. I'll give you more details about it tomorrow.

But the rumor is sometime next week.

      Normally, I admit when a title is clickbait (unfortunately, it's become somewhat necessary in AI-dominated news sections today), but in this case, all supported versions is implied and doesn't need to be spelled out in the title. Of course, I'm covering a Patch Tuesday update but that is only available to supported Windows SKUs. All our coverage relates to supported Windows software and SKUs only unless we expressly state that it's "unsupported", "unofficial", or "third-party". I'm sorry, but supported/official SKUs don't need to be spelled out as such in every Neowin headline.

      But the reality is it will work for people's needs, and they don't care about the technology that makes it. Clearly not everyone's needs, but that low end space where personal laptops were only used to type emails, watch content and browse websites, but they didn't want to do that on a small screen device. Heck, writing that out I can now see the connection and reason it'll do so well. Apple is about experience. If the experience is bad, they don't release it. Low end Windows laptop manufacturers up until this point have not taken that into consideration ever before, so slow laggy usage with brittle slimey plastic shells were common. I hope that the low end space at least creates better physical products that last a bit longer, and if Microsoft get their act together, they could also have a solid OS on such low end hardware that would actually make the experience work for what the hardware was intended for. The fact that the CPU is a "cellphone", sorry mobile phone processor is irrelevant. It's about the experience, and so far, that sounds quite solid.
