[OFFICIAL] Xbox Live Latest Demos

Thats BS if it is true. Have to wait until after work to even download it.

Wish I took a picture now, I pressed Guide, it came up, but wasn;t normal, said Guide is not avail in Demo mode, with Guide you can view views etc the normal stuff it listed in bullet points but it didnt have any functions. Had to turn 360 off and on again to quit , demo kept restarting for some reason

Edit - Dosen't do it now, was probably a one off bug or something although knew the 360 had a demo only guide where it just shows bullets of text of what the real guide can do

Shame on you for spreading dirty, dirty lies :p jk

Just as I said in a previous thread THPG is a terrible game... us gamers put up with it for too long, but no more thanks to EA's skate.

Sure there is a lot of new things in this new version and a lot more features than skate. but quantity doesn't equal quality.

Two more!

I don't even know why or how they have managed to keep the Tony Hawk games going for so long because with each release it just gets worse and worse, talk about milking the cow dry. I agree Skate is much better.

they managed to keep tony hawk going so long, because there was litlerally no other choices out there, but lets be honest, no matter how small, every release of TH has had some small increment of advancment.

i have just tried tony hawks and it is amazing

I have to agree here, it is true that the past few years have sucked but I was impressed by this years. By no means is it a realistic "simulation" like EA's .skate but it is still fun. I love both of these games but I will be picking up TH before .skate just because I prefer fun over hardcore realism. Just my opinion. :)

I'm sure probably nobody cares since this game is horrid, but....

Just played it and I must say it looks amazing and the track deformation is kool. But the car handles like hell, and low detail level on the cars plus no damage modeling at all. Another this is the AI are on rails like crazy, the deformation in the track shows this, just one solid groove that just gets deeper each lap. Some great ideas here but they really need to improve handling and add some damage.

BTW there is no bumper-bumper racing, the AI leaves you from the start.

    • I missed this when you first posted it, but those are awesome icons! I would normally prefer things to be uniform, but each of those icons seems to fit perfectly for the game! If I may ask though, what was your thought process on which icons are circular - MK makes sense - and which ones should be rectangular or square?
    • What I like about Paint is using it almost exclusively for cropping and resizing images I get elsewhere--it's quick, easy and cheap... I keep it glued to my taskbar, in fact. Also, the clipping tool comes in handy, as well (hit print scrn on the keyboard and it activates immediately.)
    • I still remember it fondly today. It was so cool to work in 64-color Half Bright mode and 4.096-color HAM mode (interlaced) when x86 was still in 4-color CGA or 16-color EGA low res. C= never realized what it had until it was far too late--the failure of C= was the failure of its top management. The C= Amiga was 20 years ahead of its time, I always thought. It didn't hurt that in only 512k of chip memory, the Amiga could preemptively multitask when Apple was still doing gray scale graphics on tiny screens and along with everyone else was doing cooperative multitasking (running more than one app at a time in resident memory, but you could only run one of them at a time--had to manually switch between them.) I had a ball with AREXX scripting running between programs that had AREXX ports so that when you sent other applications data and instructions, those running applications could process the same in real time to output! Memories...
    • I'm not sure about that, but it at least "does" a version of 7.1 that this brand new card doesn't....
