@cc979, i dont believe any part of the royle theme was included in the feb update. are you trying to use it as a standalone and your complaint is actully that you cant find the module. or are you using the feb full BETA that uses APv6, and you cant get the royale theme to install?

i used dec full then updated to feb, then when i tried to use the royale them it installed onto drive c: so i just ran it on its own and installed into drive d:

ah, yes, microsofts installer defaults it to drive C.

someone did try creating our own .msi installer for this and something else which would solve the problem, but there was something wrong with it and i dont know what happened to it.

eventually i'll have a look into doing it myself if no-one else does.

...in fact ive just created an installer myself.

- uses relative path, not absolute like the other, so should solve your problem cc979 (please check for me)

- extracts necessary files

- creates uninstaller in %windir%\resources\themes, alongside the theme

- adds an add/remove entry

- uses proper registry entries for detection, and so the uninstaller uses the correct uninstall path

- detects whether already installed and refuses to go further if it is, in order to prevent install path in registry being overwritten breaking the previous uninstaller

- reminds you to disable theme and wallpaper before uninstalling

- install/uninstall can use '/S' switch (silent)

anyone want to test it before i include it in the next release? just to verify all the above features work...

note, this is just the setup file, not the actual module !

it shows the correct drive, thanks

Added a direct link for the Portuguese Brazil version.

The file has the year 2005 instead of 2006, but is the actual version.

T? louco! Aquele FileFront ? o pior site de download que j? vi. Lento e sem possibilidade de continuar. Fico na espera de uma alternativa vi?veFileFront is the worst download host I allways used. It's too slow and does not continue. I'll wait for a best choice.

it is still missing some february updates....
i dont know whether the first four are from feb or march, i forget.

the first will not be included this month because people are having problems with it (see the hotfix thread), second and third will be included, fourth i havent decided yet (see hotfix thread), and fourth i believe is already included, either in the addons or components section.

Hi guys!

I hope that someone could give me an answer.

I've used autopatcher before and never had any problems with install of updates and other.

With this beta version some critical updates won't install (3 of them) and also all of tweaks, powertoys and some of add-on's wont install!!!

I check them and they appear to to be installing but when i restart the computer they aren't installed.

I don't have any previous versions of autopatcher installed becouse i have a fresh copy of windows installed winXP SP2.

Please help :iiam:

    • No, "a great deal" for 32GB of DDR5 is $50, not $350. I mean I see what you mean, that it's a decent price compared to what's currently available, but you really should put a disclaimer in this articles explaining that it's still multiple times more expensive than it used to be.
    • Linux 7.1 stable launch looms as Linus Torvalds releases the final release candidate by Paul Hill Linus Torvalds has just released what’s expected to be the final release candidate of Linux 7.1, rc7. The Linux founder said that this RC is not small, but smaller than recent releases, which is a good sign because he expects the stable version to drop next week if things continue on this trajectory. Linux kernels see a merge window for the first two weeks of their life, where developers add new features, then there are about seven or eight weeks of release candidates before the stable version. Typically, there are seven release candidates, but if more time is needed, then an eighth release candidate is released too. This week’s RC’s biggest area of fixes was for GPUs, with networking just behind. Torvalds said that the rest of the release was “pretty random and spread out” with some architecture fixes, driver fixes, filesystem improvements, and build fixes for more unusual configs. In terms of specific pieces of hardware receiving improvements in this update, we had more AMD Zen6 models supported and fixes for AMD SDMA 7.1 and GFX11. Hardware that got improvements includes Lenovo laptops, HONOR laptops, and MSI laptops. Here are the changelogs for those: ASoC: amd: acp: Add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 Input: atkbd - add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Air 14 (83QK) Input: atkbd - skip deactivate for HONOR BCC-N's internal keyboard ASoC: amd: yc: Add MSI Raider A18 HX A9WJG to quirk table ASoC: amd: yc: Enable internal mic on MSI Bravo 17 C7VF When the stable Linux 7.1 is released, it will be up to distribution maintainers, such as Canonical and Red Hat, to release the update to their users via the update manager. Some versions of Linux will get it before others, and some will never get it at all. Fedora and Arch-based distros will be among the first to get it, though. If you don’t get it, the security fixes will be backported to your system’s kernel, so you won’t be at risk, but you won’t get newer hardware support, which is fine if your computer works now.
