xbox360 doesnt need to sell better then the wii or PS3 as long as it sells better then the xbox. if that happens that will be great. console are selling like crazy this gen. i think this will keep up for a long time. do you guys think that last planet will help it sales. but it x mass time so xbox360 should sell alot more.

It's good to see that they are finally realizing that they need to develop games for a market in order to get sales. The good thing is that most games that would be good for the Japanese market (RPGs) would be readily accepted in the Western market, Microsoft just might have a thing going here.

Yeap its a start. They need to keep the odd RPG coming out every so often though. One game won't win over Japan in the long run

Blue Dragon is gone from the Top 30 after just 4 days. Zelda is also no where to be seen.

Wtf, where'd Zelda and Blue Dragon gone? I thought the Japanese practically worshipped these two games.

Nintendo and Microsoft must be pretty disappointed about this. Well, Microsoft moreso then Nintendo, seen as Nintendo dominates the top 10 charts 9:1

@ dnast: Not only in Japan. The DS is dominating everywhere.

Hmmm the PS3 have sold around 310,000 in Japan and looks like there is no talledega nights in newer versions in NA, so that's more than 400,000 in NA. If Sony can ship more (looks like they are not having problems with that now) I think its possible that they can sell 1,000,000 this year. Of all the crap that Sony talk maybe this one will be true hehe.

Bloody hell, even more DS Lite Units sold then last week. This is probably Nintendo's most profitable year since the early nineties >>

I think your right, after this gen is over nintendo is going to have a lot of cash on hand to invest in their next console(s)

    • All versions is correct. The bug appears on any version of Windows with KB5094126 installed. It's a little insane to expect the author to explain that systems that can't possibly have that patch installed, will not experience the bug. If you have any gripe about the title, it would be that it doesn't mention the update at all, but I wouldn't agree with that either. A title is not expected to be a full summery of the article.
    • (Can't see if he's still wearing the clompy clown shoes though)
    • I'd say the first one failed to be as popular as Apple anticipated, but the easy adjustment here is to make fewer of them next time around. It would only be a "flop" if it isn't possible for Apple to recover the design and factory tooling costs given the number of units sold, which I doubt would be the case. It isn't like no one bought them; it just failed to become the new hot phone of the year.
