Latest Japanese Hardware Sales

Sorry, guys I guess the source isn't trustworthy.

Media Create is an official Japanese retailer tracking company, it's not an unofficial fanboy site like nexgenwars.com that pulls numbers out of their ass. The source is more then official.

And friggin crap, I don't think the DS will EVER beat 485,000...EVER.

  • 2 weeks later...

360 up, PS3 down, hehe. Okay, by a totally insignificant margin, but still!

Nintendo continues to dominate their homeland pretty handily though.

maybe that was a shortage in DSL supplies...   :p

You still can't find DSL in Japan. Its all sold out, and dissapears as soon as it appears in stores.

Its quite amazing.

GOW goes on sale on the 18th, so we might see some movement in the 360 around that time.

GOW is already in the charts at #7 and sold around 33,000 units. But it didn't really help the Xbox 360 increase sales, infact they're down from last week.

lol, The playstation 3 is not doing too well in Japan.

Well... at that price its to be expected.

It will definitely be up next week seen that most stores are slashing the price to shift more units.

It's the same thing in the States. I have been looking for a DS Lite for 2 months now. Only way I could get one is if I import it and pay a premium.
