Ahh, it's actually been selling better then.

But obviously, Sony want it to be selling A LOT more units than the PS2. Not a couple of hundred/thousand more.

I always had a feeling the Elite would kick sales up a bit. Due to the HDMI and bigger HDD alone, I figured Japan, which should have more gamers with HDTVs than the US would buy the Elite more.

Yeah, but without the bigger 120GB HDD. Though you could just upgrade your 20GB. Either way, it did help sales a tiny bit.
