I am using ?torrent 1.5 and would like to know what is the default setting for Incoming legacy connections.

Is it ticked by default ? or not.

It should be ticked.

It just allows non encrypted incomming messages.

You may have to uncheck it though if your isp throttles bt traffic, this will, however, probably lead to slower speeds because not everybody and/or client supports encryption yet.
