Starforce does nothing to stop pirates. Just go to any warez site. All the Starforce games are there, cracked and with Starforce removed. So really, all it is doing is punishing the people who buy the game. It dosn't bother the pirates one bit. The pirates get to run it hassle free, but the people that actually buy it have thier computer f^cked up and it's security possibly compromized. VERY EFFECTIVE SOFTWARE!! I don't know why game publishers are including this crap. The only thing it's accomplishing is ****ing off thier paying customers and driving them to piracy.

I haven't bought any games that have used Starforce, It's better to DL and use crack so there wont be any s*** installed. Starforce only causes piracy, not prevent it.

While I agree its out of line by the makers, why is so much anger vented at Starforce?

After all its the games company`s choice what protection to use on the products, most of the anger should be vented at them for PAYING to use that kind of protection on the games they sell and produce.

Why is all the anger vented at SF? They deny all the issues it causes. Check their site about "the truth".
