Lifes Lemon
I voted for lobster because I live in the midwest so steak is cheap and plentiful but its not often I eat lobster. do you know where Waukesha is?
Fred Derf Veteran Posted March 24, 2006 Veteran Share Posted March 24, 2006 Steak is easy to cook and it doesn't require much skill so I'll vote lobster. It would be more of an ordeal to prepare at home and thus I would be more likely to order it at a restaurant. I would never, ever order a steak at a restaurant. mitch00
Mmmm... steak. fred666, you are right on some level that steak is "easier" to cook, but you just can't beat a top notch steak house with real triple A quality cuts of meat.

Hooya
At the best steakhouses I ask the waiter what steak I should order if I want to cut through it with a fork like butter. Usually it's a center cut filet and I get that medium rare. Otherwise I love a good rare to medium rare prime rib. I actually think Outback has a good steak (there's really only one on the menu that's good, but I can't remember what that is right now). There's a local place that I like to go to as well though. nomis_nehc
man, outback has horrible steak. you want some good steak, you should come down here to bertrand's at mr. a's. i just had dinner there two nights ago... kinda expensive, about $36 for like 4 oz of steak, lol. it was kinda rediculous. but it was amazing! still, my earlier decision and vote still stays. lobster for the win! Farstrider
Crayfish anytime, I prefer to do my own steaks! Here is a nice recipe! Crawdad Pilaf 2 cups cooked rice 1/2 cup stuffed olives, sliced 1 small onion, chopped 1 medium green pepper, chopped 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese 3 cups cooked crawfish meat 4 T. flour 2 cups milk 3 T. melted butter Combine rice, olives, onion, green pepper, crayfish meat and most of the grated cheese together in a well-greased casserole. Make a medium white sauce of flour, butter and milk, and season to taste. Pour over casserole and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until top is brown. Serves 6.
