Godfather vs Mafia

Recommended Posts

Mafia is one of my top 5 greatest games of all times, although my only real gripe with the game was the driving sequences. I really hated how you had to obey the speed limits constantly, at first it felt realistic and fun, but just got boring and annoying in the end. You did have the speed limiter, but driving around at 30 mph for 15 minutes is just ... bleh.

I tried Godfather after completing Mafia and got bored of it after about 20mins or so. Mafia is such a good game, it's a shame it didn't get more recognition at the time.

There are a few new screenshots of Mafia II that were posted just the other day actually, looks amazing.

Yep. It pices me of when i here from people that Mafia is a bad game!!!!!

Godfather is a fun game, but Mafia is a masterpiece

A great way to cunclude the compare between Mafia and Godfather

Godfather -> Mafia? lol

Godfather is probably one of the worst GTA-style games, if not the worst. In Mafia you can do much, much more than in Godfather. Also, is it realistic when you press the up and left key and the car just drives and drives in circles like it has been modified by aliens? :p

The best feature in Godfather... while driving and nothing is in front of you, which the camera to some other angle, and then return it to the default state, you will hit a car... Why? Because EA thought that stupid thing is fun.

Oh, and by the way, the name of the developer and publisher says all... Electronic Arts (As*). Got it?

Tell me in which game you get busted for driving with more than 40 mph? :)

Mafia IS the best game in it's kind, but you don't have to be so hard with EA. They have good games too.

BTW, does anyone knows where can I get some extra missions for Mafia while waiting for Mafia II ? Or something else that will make the game experience exciting as it once was again? :D

Mafia > Godfather

To me, Godfather felt clumsy, in all aspects of the game including controls, graphics and story. I played through most of it then realised I wasn't having any fun at all. Mafia is one of the greatest games I've ever played and is, in my opinion very similar to GTA yet so much better.

The Godfather just doens't compare!

    • Can confirm, I've built stuff for others and no complaints using their products.
    • Yes I agree, it's annoying. You can now miss tabs unless you point low enough.
