i'd say the x360 one. i mean who doesnt love to kick back on the cough, grab some food, and using the wireless controller. now, who would want to sit on the computer with not the most comfortable seating?

Actually I don't love playing games on the couch. I own the XBOX, PS2, cube and play my pc 95% of the time. I just don't get pulled into or immersed in the games as much on the consoles as I do on the pc. I can't explain it. Its just the way it is with me.

I hate how you worded the poll. You pretty much made it seem that sitting infront of the PC is a chorie, now I have a very comfortable office chair for my PC and sitting in it is not uncomfortable at all. You also have to remember that not everyone has the money to splurge on a 3 grand flat screen HDTV to fully enjoy the Xbox 360's features.

When I see most of your gaming setups it seems everyone has a new samsung 40'+ with their 360s. So yeah, I could see why most of you would choose the Xbox360 version of the PC version. I don't have a 40' plasma screen television, so my LCD with my PC has the better quality than my 32' tube tv. =/

My vote goes for the PC. /rant

I worded the poll with both advantages, Games like this are often better to play with a mouse,

I too have a very comfy office chair, but its not as nice as lounging on my couch and playign on my big screen.

So i have to choose between using the Pad and beign more comfortable and on a bigger screen, or using the Keyboard and mouse and being sat at my desk, which is still fairly comfortable.

The Poll was for which version should I get, yes , kind of selfish, but its not related to other peoples hardware, its which to buy on the hardware I have. As it happens I havent bought eithe ryet, but I plan to buy it for the xbox 360 next time I go into town.

Bllom effects are a baby step to HDR so HDR is the real lighting system and the Xbox 360 does a great job at it wher the Pc dosant have the option yet. now i would say get the xbox 360 it is far more playable then the Pc version as reviews have siad during sutch things liek the forest areas the PC tends to swap info and load and lag while the X360 just runs smooth as can be. X360 looks better in some areas in my eyes

afaik pc has it as long as your card supports it (think it needs SM 3.0 support)

ummm..arent u supposed to be like "working" at work instead of playing games.

choose 360..less chance of being fired anyway :shiftyninja:

MY office is at home, and yes that si where I work from, and also where I often game from when im not working. Theres not much chance I will get fired ;-)

This poll has got pretty close.

I picked up my copy fo thte game for the 360 today, I havent had time to play it yet, but hopefully will play it soon.

I'm still debating this myself. Except I have two crappy 17 inch CRT's and a comp that would need to be replaced to play Oblivion. No 360 and my TV is a non-HD 21 inch Toshiba.

I really don't see myself using the 360 for anything but Oblivion, so it'd kinda be a waste for me. As for the computer, the only things I use em for nowadays are browsing certain sites and playing music.

for you i guess it coms down to what needs upgrading on your PC, if its more then ?300 worth, then get a 360 because its better value.

mobo / ram / gpu / cpu

I don't think I'd get anymore use out of either compared to the other. I guess it just comes down to price and which experience is better overall. As far as consoles go, I'd rather just re-buy a gamecube than have a 360. As for the computer, only benefit I'd see outside of Oblivion is faster photoshop render times and that's about it.

okay heres what i think you should do. get the pc version..tv out to your tv and get a wireless xbox 360 pc controller...now you have two choices...playing it on the tv OR playing it on the computer :D

seems a good idea, my plasma has vga in , so no tv out needed, however, my rig is getting upgraded and modded and will be water cooled in the next few days when the rest of the parts come, and i dotn fancy lugging it about from the pc room to the lounge and back each time i play oblivion,

I have a USB 360 pad i bougth just for my PC, i had no idea there was a wireless xbox 360 pad you can use on a PC, i do want one of thes eif you coudl link me :)

I already bought oblivion for my 360 now, so with the help of people here, I made my choice, now all I need is spare time to play it, which wi will have soon onc ei got a load of work done and built my new bedroom furniture to stop the mrs nagging me.

xbox 360 was winnig this poll fo rages, i cant believe shortly after i bought th egame the pc version now wins, lol

What I would suggest? If your PC isn't up to the recommended specs listed for Oblivion, get the 360 version. No, you don't need an HDTV. Get the VGA adapter and connect the 360 to your PC monitor. It'll be cheap and it'll look great.

did you even read my thread starting post ?

Go for the 360.

I have it on both the systems. My PC is a pretty sweet setup with two dual core Opterons, 6GB RAM and two 7800GTX cards in SLI connected to my 24" Dell LCD.

The control of the games seems to be better suited with a gamepad. Plus my 40" LCD is always bigger than the 24" Dell LCD and the main reason I bought the x360 was for games so might as well utilize it for that.

Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future.
