The current build looks and functions quite well but it is still no there yet. I believe that a few details must still be made and repaired before it hits RTM. I do hope however that more features would come our way such as better video conferencing or three way conferencing :yes: .

I like the "Branches" real internal beta that leaked. Using it myself and it's a big improvement over it's predecessor.

To be honest, I am not really impressed with the GUI on this version. When I first saw it, i was amazed at how good it actually looked, but since downloading the leaked version and using it, I cant see anything special about it.

Why would you say that? I find the UI very attractive indeed and it does not detract from the overall functionnaltiy of the Messenger. Would you care to share your views on why it does not seem attractive to you?

I use the branches release too. I quite like the new status icons and button icons, but not so much the "dark shading" at the top of the main messenger screen.. I prefer minimilist white / very light grey interfaces in all my apps, desktops etc, but I think the dark part at the top of the main screen detracts from this... If the shading bit was a bit lighter, I think it would be classier. The chat windows look really nifty tho if you select a really light grey :yes:
