Xab
I just picked up the Sharp Aquos LC37DB5U the other day, got it open box for $1717 at Best Buy, but this week Micro Center has the Syntax Olevia LT42HVi for $1500 AR, and I'm wondering if the quality on that set wouldn't be better. I like the fact that it has a bigger screen size, but it's also heavier. What would you guys do in my shoes? Keep the Sharp, or go with the Syntax? Thanks for any suggestions/thoughts. Joel
Keep Sharp. I mean, who's heard of Syntax? How could it be better and cheaper than a name-brand? Why not shop for Insignia or Proview while you're at it?
BroChaos Veteran Posted April 7, 2006 Veteran Share Posted April 7, 2006 actually, i think we are the #3 seller of LCD tvs in north america. but thats cuz the prices are cheap. and technically, our image quality, can be pretty decent. but there are a lot of small things that we don't get right. however, our next generation of TVs should actually be pretty decent.
