Steven P. Administrators Posted August 8, 2001 Administrators Share Posted August 8, 2001 You cant! if you needed to replace your winlogon.exe for some strange reason ;) then you should of made sure the "changed one" was already on the CD you probably made
Kheldar
There is a possible solution .. although its extremely crap. Theres a little program called ntfs for dos that I THINK you can add to a fat32 boot disk .. allthough it has been said that all you do with this is corrupt your hdd (think XP is NTFS 5.1 not standard 5) and render your floppy inactive for the session. Either way you could try it :) PS its called ntfs4dos.exe
Kibler
You can also use the cd and boot to the little command line repair thingie that win2k and xp have, very handy....forgot its name however... Kibler
ahodes1
It would be called Recovery Console if its the same as Windows 2000... ts the equivelant of DOS really....
tayldavi
just use reset3, no need to replace winlogon
