The beauty about the World Cup is a lot of teams can win it. In each World Cup there is always some surprises, in 1998 there was Croatia, in 2002 there was South Korea...

yet only 7 teams outta 200+ have one the past 17 world cups?

i would definetly put australia in the Figurants group, however, any team in teh Figurants can cause an upset

IRAN all the way!!

remember greece in the euro cup?

Iran is MUCH better anyways...with Mahdavikia...KARIMI..DAIE...Hashemian....watch and learn....just watch and learn!

This would be my list.

woa...amigo!! wheres Iran on that list? u know ur "strong" list..and Australia...it was IRAN who kicked them out of the 98 france! and we would do it again!! and we beat USA 2-1 in the 98 france as well...and this time..our team is even more complete...mark my words..Karimi is better than C.Ronaldo!! just go on google videos..and Search for Karimi..he plays for bayern..too bad he plays a bit more on the D side in bayern...hes an AMAZING player..they call him the WIZARD in Asia...POLAND is in there? but no Iran...i mean wow...SOUTH KOREA? we beat them up on daily basis!! and mexico is much stronger than alot of people think..too bad Iran has to face them..im more scared of Mexico than Figo and C.Ronaldo...

EDIT: Saudi Arabia?????????????????????????????????????????????? Iran is the BEST team in ASIA...ranking wise its behind Japan..but even japanies dont want to face Iran..our team is very complete..and i see Saudi Arabia? last WC they lost what? 8-0 to Germany? i mean c'mon!!!

I say Brazil, for obvious reasons..:)

But i would like to see Mexico and Portugal doing a great WC.

I also think Brazil will win this wolrd cup (Y)

wheres the US? they are ranked #5 in the world and yet they are not on the vote.

Nice joke :p

About the ranking, Don't 100% trust the ranking, specially when

they list Argentina below Spain and Mexico C'mon

dont count out spain....

i think mexico will surprise people... but for me... france or spain for the win, although id love australia to win it :)

Mexico is going with a strong team, so i think also that they can give a surprise. Not enough to win the Cup, but certainly can end up in a good position

As for me, I choose England as I believe they've got the best chance to win the World Cup this year, besides Brazil. They've got a good mix of youth and experience and they've got good players on the wings and in the middle. The defence too is good with Ferdinand, Neville, Campbell and Cole. The attack is a bit of a problem what with Rooney injured and Owen still not fully fit but I believe they'll be fine. I think this year could be England's year  . Plus, if they replicate the form that beat Argentina in February, it should be no problem for them :D .

I'm pulling for Germany to win. What better way to win than to win at home!?

I'm hoping the US has some success because as we all know, if soccer becomes as big in the US as it is in the rest of the World, the caliber of athletes the US can potentially produce will be up to par with the best of the world!

I also think Americans should be desensitized from that so-called sport they call baseball. I'd love to go to a soccer match in Canada or the US that had the same atmosphere as a EPL, Bundesliga, Serie A etc match with 40-50,000 fans!

Brazil is probably the safe bet but anything can happen.

yea that would be the safe bet, the thing is anything can happen! players get injured or loose condition, or the ones injured don't get in shape in time, so many variables, that's what makes the WC exiting and stressfull

as the good old saying goes "the ball is round" ;), well its spheric but you know what I mean :p

anyway, my votes goes to Italy

Forza Azurri :D

Brasil won't win this time. Nah, with these defenders. Ruque Junior and Juan are in poor form. I thought that Pereira will choose defenders from their domestic league. Adriano is in poor form...as well as Ronaldo.

Germany never had so poor national team in their history! Klose and Ballack are their strongest players...the rest are figurants. Don't you see how weak is their domestic league?

England as always will step on the wrong foot somewhere in the tournament...but they have strong team.

I voted for Italy. I am thinking they are the hiden favorite. Luca Toni will show his potential.

^dude, morocco is one of the worst team actually in africa and i know'em very good i'm moroccan, and to loose with'em what will happend against czech for me one of the best playing team in europe or italy

that's wy the fifa's list of best teams is a peace oc crap

    • Also try installing an alternative browser on ChromeOS. You have to enable dev mode and run it as a Linux app. Clunky.
    • sometimes in older bios' you had to set a password in order to change the csm settings
    • I've enjoyed Firefoxx64 DE for many years, and Edge doesn't tempt me, and I stopped using Chrome long ago--far too many bugs.
