WOW!

That was close :)

Cant wait for tuesday and we'll have Sweden - England, a fight for the group victory.

And Sweden also has to get a point to secure the second or first place.

Tomorrow will sure be a great world cup day also.

ohh sweden vs england will be so nice, and of course sweden will prevail

morrow is nice day too, with nederland vs ivorkoost

Hmm england again had a very iffy spell i would say. They keep playing some long ball up front to crouch and hope he plays it down for someone

When owen is playing yeah it will work but he isn't at his match sharpness as we have seen so many times already.

Lampard has has some nice shots but most were just want over the bar.

Gerrad sadly is sitting back to cover for lampard going forward

And when you bring on rooney to play up front you may not get great play, rooney likes to travel with the ball and he goes and looks for it.

The defence was not pushing up enough to force the midfielder up who then force the strikers up. Which then will lead to T&T just having to sit so much deeper.

It wasn't untill we got rooney, lennon and downing on to strech the players out to make the goals.

Lennon even thou he wasn't on long he was able to push one or two defenders in to a corner then pass back.

For me england didn't play quick enough, everytime we should of counterd we just looked to play it across the pitch rather then up.

A slow first half but a great performance in the later second half. Great to see Rooney back! biggrin.gif Terry's save was great...he did save England conceding a goal. Beckham played fabulous, Crouch missed a lot of chances in the first half, but the goal was nice. Nice lob from Beckham and a good finish from Crouch. Finally England open their goal tally. The second one was a stunner. Superb goal from Stevie-G cool.gif England looked like the team English fans want to see in the later stages of the game. Though still the team hasn't played at the level whats expected from them in the tournament, and in this fashion they won't get to the finals. But hopefully they will play much better. More like a top premiership team, and play as a much better team. Rooney brings that added spark in the team, which will help the team. Lennon played very well. The double substitution from Sven worked very well. Though I feel that Owen should have opened the goal account for England. Hopefully he gets a goal in the next game against Sweden. England has to win the game against Sweden, and Rooney should start the game. Winning the last group game against Sweden will help the team in their confidence levels as they will face much tougher competition in the Last 16. A big relief to see Rooney back...England should now get the World Cup which they have been waiting since they last won in 1966.

lol, check out this Argentina fan. It's really nice seeing everyone interviewed on tv and hearing everyone on the radio having such a good time no matter which team they are supporting.

Big thumbs up for the World Cup as a whole! Should be a good day for matches today :)

Do you know what?

I think steve mclaren has something to do with Downing, Lennon coming on.

Why you may ask?

Because it made so much sense

Most likely. I have never known Sven to make three bold substitutions to win a game! Either he was drunk or McLaren advised him.

The Argentina game should be interesting (Y)

I have a new favorite team now. Argentina.

That second goal was pure evil. As a former goal keeper, I wept for him. That guy had no chance.

Nice ball movement by the Argentinians.

Now let's wait for L3thal... I can't wait to read how bad Argentina played and how US and Portugal will be the two finalists on this cup.

We already know his excuse for the Argentina win will be "poor opposition" ;).

    • KillerPDF 1.4.2 by Razvan Serea KillerPDF is a lightweight, portable PDF editor for Windows built for users who want full control without subscriptions, installers, or telemetry. It runs as a single executable, making it ideal for USB use and field work. You can view PDFs with smooth PDFium rendering, navigate quickly with thumbnails, zoom, and shortcuts, and reorganize pages using drag-and-drop. It supports merging multiple PDFs, splitting documents, and extracting selected pages. KillerPDF also allows inline text editing with font matching to preserve the original layout, plus annotations like text boxes, freehand drawing, highlights, and reusable signatures. You can search full text, copy content easily, and print documents with flattened annotations. Designed as a free and open alternative to bloated PDF tools, it works fully offline on Windows 10/11 x64. No runtimes install. Everything needed is inside the EXE (targets .NET Framework 4.8, which ships with every supported Windows release). KillerPDF key features: High-quality PDF rendering via PDFium Edit PDF text inline (double-click to modify text) Page thumbnails and fast navigation with zoom and shortcuts Merge multiple PDFs into one Split PDFs and extract selected pages Drag-and-drop page reordering Font matching to preserve original document appearance Text boxes for notes Freehand drawing tools Highlight overlays with adjustable color, size, opacity Undo actions and clear per-page annotations Create, draw, and save reusable signatures Click-to-place signatures anywhere Full-text search with highlighted results Drag-select or Ctrl+A to copy text Print with annotations flattened Portable single-file app (~10 MB) No installer, no admin rights required No account, no telemetry KillerPDF 1.4.2 changelog: What's new PDF form filling. Interactive PDF forms now render their fields (text inputs, checkboxes, radio buttons) as live controls. Fill them in directly and save — field values are written back into the PDF. PDF outline (bookmark) navigation. A new OUTLINES tab in the sidebar displays the document's bookmark tree. Click any entry to jump to that page. The sidebar auto-fits its width to the longest entry on open and can be dragged wider; switching back to PAGES snaps to the pages-mode width. Fixed Page rotation no longer reverts after saving. Rotations applied via the sidebar context menu now persist correctly through the save pipeline. Copied text words were out of order on PDFs where glyphs are stored in non-reading order (Issue #66). Text extraction now sorts words by position and uses a dynamic line-grouping threshold so both drag-select and Select All produce correctly ordered output. PDFs with malformed or non-standard XRef tables now open in read-only mode instead of showing "Invalid entry in XRef table" and failing entirely. • The very fact that a TPM (v2.0 specifically which is part of the issue I suspect) is now a baseline for any supported Windows installation will naturally mean other vendors will start to leverage it as they know it'll be there. It's called progress, and it's always been the way. A TPM isn't a windows thing, it's just a module designed to securely store keys. Secure boot isn't a Windows thing (although MS are the TCA as I recall hence the upheaval this year as the 2011 certs expire), it's just a way to verify a bootloader is signed. Windows simply leverages them.
    • It's a local account with the ability to reset a password at a very base level. I really don't get the issue that gets whipped up around it But you do you
