Is the PS3s harddrive removable

according to what ps3's press release in the past mention the 20 and 60GB hard drives they are internal and un-removable. but it can be removed if you pull it to bits i guess

No, Sony said they are removable and there is a tray on the side of the console to make it easier. Some systme files will have to be moved though. Sony also said they don't plan to sell any.

Yes the hard drive is removable. You can put a standard PC HDD in, apparently (although 2.5" HDD is not a standard PC HDD afaik, I thought that was a laptop drive).

While Sony supposedly says yes, replacing the HDD would create a whole slew of problems when developing games.
That's just silly - where have you got that garbage from?

yer, they could just put al the system files on a Blue Ray Disc, so when u change the HD u can reload them again.
