Spammers beware--hostile amphibians are once again

I can see a p2p aproach of this working.

Get 99% of computer users to install the software, have a easy way to mark emails as spam, and have a uncentralized way of distributing spam emails to other users.

In the end u get a network like a billion or more times larger than any botnet that has unlimited resources.

The spammers / advertisers would be ****ting themselves.

Blue Security showed that this method actually worked at reducing spam. I know that the levels of spam reaching my inbox fell dramatically after using it.

Worked for me as well, until the attacks, and then it got worse.

But there were those who claimed it was unethical anyway, even though all it was was sending a request for each spam e-mail.

Bottom line:

There are those who only want the spammers to be able to use mass weapons, by making it illegal for everyone else (because spammers are outside the reach of the law, apparently). One wonders if these people have a vested interest in spam continuing...
