Most people thought he would but I cant understand his motives, why leave a club he is loved by for a club that is hated :p? Sheva is one of the best strikers in the world, Milan should of demanded a lot more than that! They had the chance to hold Chelsea to ransom! By the way Chelsea got Salmon Kalou as well (who is a decent player who can play up front or on the wing), so that add's even more competition... I hate the way Chelsea can buy the league effectively, without Ambromovich Chelsea would still be a Newcastle. From what I've seen of Shevchenko, which is limited to the Champions League, he and Ruud are quite similar in their styles, although Shevchenko scores from outside the box more, I think? So how come RVN is worth only ?8-12 million whereas Shevchenko is worth ?25-35? They are approximately the same age and have similar goalscoring records?
