Extensions are great, i liked them when i was a firefox user.

Opera has many addons like extentions which i like about it, without having to use much resources.

That was a big problem as i had to triple Vram just to use it and all my other programs.

Here's a question, how much resources does IE7 use (not that i'm switching, out of curiosity).

There's a major point about the memory leak problem.

Yes, it can be solved easily if you are good with IT and know little bits, but the matter is that the about:config isn't the most user friendly of interfaces. If you had some teen who uses a computer for browsing, homework and gaming, yet doesn't really know much about computers other than to install and unistall programs and such like; the about:config could just work if they understand what they are supposed to do. But an OAP who has just bought their first computer to browse the web wouldn't know the about:config at all (granted that somebody recommended them FF) or how to change the values. Yet FF is made so that you can use it straight out of the box, but when there is a problem such as memory leaking, then that shouldn't be there out of the box. If it's a feature then let the feature be off by default; I'm sure a lot of people would wait the extra 5 seconds for a page to load than have a PC that ran slow for some unknown reason (being FF).

I still support FF when ever I setup a PC for my friends and family (being the only person outside my Uni that knows about PCs) based on the fact that it's very simple and easy to use and very few websites have a problem with it. But I personally use Opera; I don't know why, but I feel it's a better expirence. It's one of those things which I can't explain. I still use FF, but I've unistalled FF it's self now and use Flock.

It's all a matter of opinion, and like me, sometimes those opinions don't have reasons.

    • Ridiculous claim that the labor cost difference of $6000 annually would increase cost per phone by $200. The employees produce 3 phones per month or what?

    • And I just bought a seat cushion for my mesh chair. The chair feels nice but the first time I sat in it with boxers, I realized I don't like the feel of mesh on my legs. 😂
