When did you download Vista beta 2?

I downloaded the Beta after about two days and it took me about 16 hours using FlashGet to download the file. The Microsoft servers were really getting hammered at the time :p . Wonder if it's still down at the moment, after a few days... :shifty: :whistle: .

woo hoo for not supporting your own format to btw: i know its beta but you would think MCE would support all WMV files and be able to stream them from the web

i didn't download it...i got from a friend who's a beta tester.

and before you say any thing..im one to so its not illegal or anything.

I actually started downloading it from Usenet the night before it was released. I couldn;t wait any longer, but I waited until they started giving out keys before I installed it.

well, I've been in the beta, so a long time ago, but I posted first (or very close) regarding the public download going live...so probably just about as early as possible ;)

got it with mins of being released. installed it 2 hours later(35 mins for a clean install) and been playing with this ever since.

if you have 2 hard drives install from one to the other only 35 mins that way

It took me 15 hours to download. I eventually got a Download Accelerator, because 0 kb/sec does not exactly work when you are on cable and everyone is dling it.
