Defiantly Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Hi, I'm an idiot. Just purchased a PS2 Slim and hooked it up to my 53' HDTV via composit cables. How the hell do you turn on "Progressive Scan" for games that support them? I'm playing EA's MVP Baseball 2004 and it states that it's progressive scan capable. The PS2 is set to 16:9 and Y/P/B/R yet it looks the same as the other non-ProgScan games. Also, is there a way that I can tell the ProgScan is on? Galley Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Some games allow you to turn it on in the options (Gran Turismo 4, Jak X Combat Racing), others require you to hold down certain buttons (X + triangle?) as the game boots up.
