Thanks. The price keeps dropping every day on Plemix, though. When I bought it on June 6, it cost me $417 total. Now, it's as little as $359. Must be in anticipation of the K790a.

Are you making sure it's not some kind of encrypted or protected MP3 file? I got my W810i from Plemix.com, which ships from Hong Kong. I don't know where you got your phone. Perhaps the firmware is corrupted or something.

Try this, worked for my W800i. :D

Just navigate to this location - MSSEMC\Media_files\audio, each subfolder here will be the name of the artist; the albums are stored as subfolders of the artist's folder. In these locations you can save all your MP3 files.

Atasas I suppose you have a branded phone? If yes, then most likely you have to use drm protected mp3, and no it's not sonyericsson faults. Flash it with a generic firmware, search for davinci team on google.

i have the w800....white one..cuz its so cute:) and 810 wasnt out then..and i love it...its simply PERFECT.

i mean it..it really is perfect. i HATE flip phones..so if you hate flips...i say this is the best on the market right now..the phone has everything..and i love the SE OS, it really is MUCH MUCH better than MOTO and smoother than nokia...so this is my two cents...

ohh and i almost forgot...w800 is not quad:( so i guess 810 is PERFECT

Well, the K790/K800 is really marketed towards people who really want a true camera in a phone. And quad-band really isn't a huge essential for the most part. If you live in Europe, get the K800. If you live in NA, go for the K790.

i CANT find delivery report in the text message menu. There are only service centre, email gateway, max msg length and request reply. However, there IS delivery report in the picture message menu.

Possibly not supported by your provider, then.

Why not get a K800i? They're free too on some contracts.

Well, perhaps the author lives in North America, where 3G use isn't very widespread. Or maybe he wants a quad-band phone. I know for me, I pretty much can't use the K800, and have to use the K790 instead.
Hi, i?m also thinking to get this phone, i?m curious, how long will the battery last as playing mp3s non-stop? Can anyone tell from user experiences?
If you did nothing but play music with the phone, I believe the battery lasts about 12-14 hours. (This is from some reviews that I've read; I myself haven't actually done this.)

I've tried playing mp3s non-stop for about an hour and i can say that it drains the battery real fast. I assume a full battery can only last about 4-5 hours max. Well, not very sure coz i havent actually tested it that way.

And about the delivery reports thing...i checked everywhere in the menus. Nothing. My phone had a vodafone branding..so probably they removed it.

No one I know uses 3G in the UK, but I still want the K800 :)

    • The most consequential argument in technology right now is not about which model is smartest or which chip is fastest. It is about whether the entire enterprise is a generational revolution or the largest financial bubble ever inflated — and the unsettling answer, increasingly, is that it may be both at once.,,,, https://www.techtimes.com/articles/318138/20260610/ai-revolution-ai-bubble-trillion-dollar-question-splitting-wall-street-silicon-valley.htm This is a very good read.  I agree with the answer to the question.
    • LibreWolf 151.0.4-1 by Razvan Serea LibreWolf is an independent “fork” of Firefox, with the primary goals of privacy security and user freedom. It is the community run successor to LibreFox. LibreWolf is designed to increase protection against tracking and fingerprinting techniques, while also including a few security improvements. This is achieved through our privacy and security oriented settings and patches. LibreWolf also aims to remove all the telemetry, data collection and annoyances, as well as disabling anti-freedom features like DRM. LibreWolf features: Latest Firefox — LibreWolf is compiled directly from the latest build of Firefox Stable. You will have the the latest features, and security updates. Independent Build — LibreWolf uses a build independent of Firefox and has its own settings, profile folder and installation path. As a result, it can be installed alongside Firefox or any other browser. No phoning home — Embedded server links and other calling home functions are removed. In other words, minimal background connections by default. User settings updates Extensions firewall: limit internet access for extensions. Multi-platform (Windows/Linux/Mac/and soon Android) Community-Driven Dark theme (classic and advanced) LibreWolf privacy features: Delete cookies and website data on close. Include only privacy respecting search engines like DuckDuckGo and Searx. Include uBlockOrigin with custom default filter lists, and Tracking Protection in strict mode, to block trackers and ads. Strip tracking elements from URLs, both natively and through uBO. Enable dFPI, also known as Total Cookie Protection. Enable RFP which is part of the Tor Uplift project. RFP is considered the best in class anti-fingerprinting solution, and its goal is to make users look the same and cover as many metrics as possible, in an effort to block fingerprinting techniques. Always display user language as en-US to websites, in order to protect the language used in the browser and in the OS. Disable WebGL, as it is a strong fingerprinting vector. Prevent access to the location services of the OS, and use Mozilla's location API instead of Google's API. Limit ICE candidates generation to a single interface when sharing video or audio during a videoconference. Force DNS and WebRTC inside the proxy, when one is being used. Trim cross-origin referrers, so that they don't include the full URI. Disable link prefetching and speculative connections. Disable disk cache and clear temporary files on close. Disable form autofill. Disable search and form history...and more. LibreWolf 151.0.4-1 changelog: Upstream release, see the Firefox 151.0.4 Release Notes Notable changes: DRM now uses a per-site permission, instead of allowing all requested sites access, when DRM is enabled. • Stopped using Windows as my main workflow. Migrated completed to Linux. Been happier than a clam without a single issue nor windows annoyance. Leaving Windows has shown me the light at the end of the tunnel, or rather I went through the tunnel and I'm already at the light.
    • AirPods Pro 3 are now available for only $179 by Taras Buria Apple's third-gen AirPods Pro 3 introduced a few important upgrades over the previous generation while retaining the old $249 price. Still, that is quite a lot of money for a pair of earbuds, but the good news is that right now, you can save quite a lot of money on them, thanks to a new all-time low price. AirPods Pro 3 retain their classic look and form factor, with changes focused on the inside. These earbuds now come with five sets of foam-silicone tips, which sit much more securely in your ear, making the earbuds a perfect choice for physical activities and workouts. Additionally, new tips provide better passive noise cancellation. Speaking of noise cancellation, ANC is now much better at blocking outside noise, with Apple claiming the AirPods Pro mute up to two times more sound than the AirPods Pro 2. The AirPods Pro 3 also have heart rate sensors for activity tracking during workouts. They also support Live Translation and Hearing Aid mode. As for battery life, you get up to 8 hours on a single charge, with the case adding 20 more. The case supports wireless (Qi or Apple Watch charger) and wired charging over USB Type-C (cable not included). • Everything I have read is that the BBC is still Pro Doctor Who but wants a solid plan before they let anyone else try to do it. Which is fair.
