Just got my W810 from Rogers and im liking it so far. One thing I dont like is that I cant use MP3s as my ringtone, but i found a workaround.

I'm about to get this phone this month from Rogers too, so what's your workaround? :)

Download a program called DRM Packager that you can get @ http://developer.sonyericsson.com/site/glo...misc/p_misc.jsp

Load the program and Add your mp3 that you want to be the ringtone. I found that all mp3s wont work. You'll probably need to cut the mp3 down to ~30 seconds or around a couple hundred KB. After you add the mp3, click create DRM content. This will save the new DRM file in a folder called DRM where your mp3 was located. Take the DRM file (icon is a lock) and transfer it to your phone (Phone memory, not MemoryStick).

If that doesnt work, try changing the DRM method to "combined delivery" via Options -> Configuration. If you use combined delivery, you will need to fill out some settings. Also, make sure you enable atleast one right (you will see this in combined delivery settings).

On your phone, find the mp3 (should save it in the ringtones folder) and select More -> Use As -> Ringtone.

You can use any mp3 as ringtones if you unbrand. Look at se-nse.net forum on how to debrand the phone.. I

That phone isn't as capable as the W810, I think. It's not a bad choice for a clamshell, though.

Ok I have to ask you guys about the games. Well, the games preloaded got boring, so I'm looking for games that will last for some time, does anyone have any tips?

I also saw this tennis game in another SE phone (it was silver, with a joystick thingy), know anything about it?

Debranding the phone takes care of this, it will remove the shutter sound when in Silent mode.

you dont even have to flash it.. you can just edit an .xml file ( called customization.xml) and set the value of shutter sound from "true" to "false". but while you are there.. check out custom camera and music drivers..
