Few questions about my router

Hey, i was looking at my router earlier and browsing and it says:

disabling Broadcast SSID is a lowers security risk also it says

"Enable AES encryption if your equipment supports it."

I would like to know do i really need to do this , i have a home wireless network 1 pc and 1 laptop and sometimes my friend brings his laptop when he comes round to my house.

Disreguard the suggesting on disabling SSID broadcasting (network name broadcasting).

WPA encryption can use TKIP or AES. AES is hardware dependent, so not all cards support it. Using AES is perfered, but using TKIP is just as good as long as you choose a strong passphrase.
