I'm having trouble with this. :(

I download the .msi file, run it, and then it acts as though its installing, and then tells me that its made NO changes to my computer???

And then it displays this:

Fixed it. I had to use winrar on the install, and run the .msi that was within the original .msi file....... weird?

Now i've had a chance to play with it, to me its pretty much the baastard child of Outlook Express and Outlook, minus the calendar and business features of Outlook, plus a load of eye candy.

I was also thinking that MS would have taken this opportunity to make adding new accounts as easy as "Add Gmail Account" and "Add Hotmail/Live Account" etc.. But no, you still have to add new accounts the Outlook Express way?

This is a useless program IMHO. Very very poor attempt by MS :no:

I agree Microsoft could of made this a LOT better but it is still in BETA. The problem I have is that I can access my emails through my primary @live.com email but when I add my other Hotmail account I get the following message:

Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. This account does not have permission to synchronize your mail. To sign up to gain permission to synchronize with this account, please go to http://ideas.live.com and join the notification list for this Windows Live Mail product. You will be notified when your account is enabled. Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v1.0.0/sync.aspx', Protocol: HTTPMail, Port: 80, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 103, Error Number: 0x8DE00002

Ans I am using the "Windows Live" interface on the web based email, anyway know why I'm getting this problem?

Also, is there any 3rd party program that can minimize WLMD to the System Tray? This is the only thing feature that really needs adding :(
