New Creative SB drivers for Windows Vista

Well for one, they support OpenAL 1.1 on Audigys :)

Both of the last two XP driver releasess supported OpenAL (Audigy series drivers are for *all* Audigy cards, from Classic to 2 ZS Platinum Pro).

since the pre-RC1 i havnt been able to get it to work.

Has anyone been able to use their audigy 2 zs ?

These drivers work fine on my Audigy 2 ZS on build 5536, installed as normal with the expected "busted app" popups on first reboot. Still have BSOD's when using 5.1 though.

Here are the popup messages I got

They appear in a window which title is "Busted App":

There were 2 unreleased IDrvBMixer interfaces

There were 1 unreleased IDrvBMixerLine interfaces

I get that as well :o.. The card seems to work fine tho.

There are new drivers up on the Creative site. I have an Audigy 2 ZS and I got 5.1 to work with them. Pretty good I may add.

I also have an Audigy 2 ZS and the new Vista drivers work decently for me. I can't seem to get the equalizer to work, but many of the other little programs work well (speaker diags, etc.).

At least they're an improvement over trying to use the XP drivers....Vista had a serious spaz attack when last I tried that :wacko:
